hindu gods are symbolic representations of various natural energies

Published on by ashokha

all hindu gods are the symbolic

representations of various energies, activities of the day

to day life of the human beings. if they are understood

to the inner level true meaning one can find out that

all religions are describing only one thing, the god or

the super soul.

lord shiva means jeeva (the life force)(in anglo

saxon grammer s and j will merge and interchange.)

goddess sakthi means  energy. the basic meaning  is if you

are having life you will have energy.

his eldest son lord ganapathy (meaning the origin of all

the living beings) represents the moolathara of the body

(namely the sexual glands of  the body).  lord ganapathy

is having the elephanthead and having the vahanam

(vehicle) moonjooru (one of the speciesof rat or mouse).

it describes that eventhough he is having only a small

vehicle he is doing the powerful things. naturally one

can understand that the  sexual organs are the reason

for the development of crores and  crores of living beings.

his youngest son lord muruga is having the sanscrit

name subrahmaniam which means white stone (subra means

white and mani means round  shaped stone). he is always in

mountains ie he is always in places of  height. it represents

the penial gland in the body (which is in the brain) ( which is in

height than the other parts of the body) and he is highly

knowledged.   penial gland is white and it is in round shape.

one can  easily understand that the penial gland is in the

height (that is the brain) and he symbolically represents

the knowledge.

second system:

lord vishnu (narayanan) symbolises the worldly pleasures.

narayanan means the best man among the human births.

his wife lakshmi is the  goddess for wealth. he is lyeing in a

bed of adiseshan (the old and the ancient snake) it is having

fiveheads (symbolises five senses) in the  serum of milk sea.

third system:

lord brahma symbolises wisdom. his wife saraswathi is the

goddess for knowledge.  he is sitting in a lotus of thousand

petals.   (symbolises the brain) (sahasraram)

so if you think that your health and life force is important

then pray the first system to get the longivity, health and

energy to live in this world happily.

if you wish to get the wealth and to live comfartably then

pray the lord vishnu and goddess lakshmi.

but if you think that knowledge is more important than the

other two then pray the brahma the lord of the wisdom

and the saraswathi the goddess for knowledge.

what people has done in due course is they think that

knowledge is not so important as life and wealth they

forget the brahma and saraswathy.   lord brahma is

in the outlet of lord shiva's bathing water  and saraswathy

is in the circumference bathway of the temples.  one or

two temples are there for them now.   but today people

give importance to education and knowledge also and

they begin to pray these deities also.
